Snowdesk and your data
Snowdesk is software Viveli provides to ski and snowsport schools. A school decides what it records in Snowdesk about its clients, their families and its staff. For those records the school is the controller, and Viveli processes them only on the school’s instructions, under our Data Processing Agreement. If you are a school’s client or a member of its staff, please send questions about your data to the school; we will help it answer.
Viveli itself is responsible for the accounts of the people who use Snowdesk, for billing and support, and for the security records that keep the service safe. All of this is set out in full in our Privacy Policy.
Where it is stored
Snowdesk’s database is hosted in Frankfurt, Germany (EU), by Supabase. The application runs with Railway and Vercel, and error reports go to Sentry, which stores them in Germany. Where a provider is outside Switzerland and the EU, transfers rest on the safeguards Swiss law recognises. The full list is in the Privacy Policy.
How long we keep it
Accounting records — bookings, payments, receipts and payroll — are kept for ten years, as Swiss law requires. Everything else is kept for as long as the school uses Snowdesk and needs it, and is deleted on its instruction. A school that leaves can export its data for 30 days; we then delete it.
Cookies
Snowdesk sets only the cookies it needs to sign you in and keep your session safe — at, rt and csrf_token. There are no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. The details are in the Privacy Policy.
Terms
Schools use Snowdesk under our Terms of Service and Data Processing Agreement.
Your rights
You may ask what we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, object to its use, and receive it in a common electronic format. Write to info@viveli.ch; we answer within 30 days. You may also complain to the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), www.edoeb.admin.ch, or, where the GDPR applies, to the data protection authority where you live or work.
